This: Thanks everyone for playing “Two Truths and a Lie.” Sadly, I have to report that no one guessed correctly. Unfortunate for you. Very exciting for me! That may have been the first time ever that I’ve told a successful lie. Granted, you couldn’t see my face, hear my voice, or read my body language. Those totally would have given it away.
My lie was actually #1 – I’m a world-traveler. Having been to 9 different countries, Asia is definitely my favorite place to visit. It’s a lie because, I’ve actually only been to 7 different countries. Those are Nepal, Sri Lanka, The Philippines, China, Nicaragua, Mexico and Honduras. And my favorite is Asia! Great try though! It was a bit tricky.
That: I’ve done a bit more updating/maintenance on my blog! If you look to the right —> you will notice the beautifully designed “About Me” section complete with a picture and bio. I’ve also included social media buttons so you can find me on Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest or email. A friend told me today that I’m not very “stalker worthy,” but if you feel like connecting or learning more, you can follow me on social media.
This: I have a huge fear of failure. But, I’m working on it. Part of that being an attempt to be more open with my thoughts and opinions on this blog. My husband tells me all the time that I’m an excellent writer, I just need to be a bit bolder. Sigh…I will try to do that. But a fair warning – you may not agree with what I say. You may not like my statements or thoughts. And that’s OKAY. My purpose would not be to push anyone around or put someone else’s opinion down, but to start a free dialogue to challenge and learn from one another. Easier said than done when feelings get involved. Not to mention the fact that we are all only human. So as I step out into the world of controversial topics and unpopular opinions, bare with me. Know that I care for you, and that sometimes all we can do is agree to disagree.
That: My birthday is coming soon! I’ll be 25!! Whoo-Hoo! My amazing hubby told me that I could choose a special weekend getaway to celebrate the occasion. I’m totally going with the introvert/last century option. A quiet and peaceful cabin in the mountains, alone and away from the city, no internet, probably won’t take my phone….AH! Just me, the hubs, the pug and the great outdoors.
And this is ironic, if you know me well. This type of excursion is way out of character for me. But, after exploring a few options, it just seemed perfect.
