We missed last week, but we are back in the game! Enjoy the fun…
1. What is your spouse’s favorite room in the house?
S: His office! It’s his very own space that I leave alone and don’t make him clean J
C: The bedroom, she sleeps in there pretty much all the time
2. What was the first picture of you both? Where were you/when was it?
S: I’m sure it wasn’t the first, but it’s the one I remember most and we used for our engagement photos – a picture of us at Falls Creek together.
C: That’s a great question. Considering we’re a Hollywood-esque couple I would say the Paparazzi took it at one of the lavish parties we have attended and/or in our homes from a tree. Of course, I can’t be sure of this or even if anyone has taken a picture…but I figure this is more entertaining than a simple ‘I don’t know.’
3. Describe a typical evening at home.
S: Well…there is nothing quite typical about our home. Each night is completely different. The most fun nights are when we all cuddle up on the couch – me, Chris, Suruchi (the dog) and Kiki (the cat), of course now the baby kittens will have to join – and I watch tv while Chris surfs the internet all warm and cozy.
C: Ok to keep this child friendly I’ll leave out all the details that might compromise that. Sara comes home, we kiss, we eat, we sleep. Yep.
4. What is the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to you & your spouse in public?
S: We never do anything embarrassing. (And we are introverts, so if we did, we wouldn’t talk about it…ever)
C: We have (thankfully) just embarrassed ourselves in private thus far. I’m sure that time is coming though.
5. What do you like best about your spouse’s personality?
S: Pessimistic – The world’s future. But I’m working on that one
The way he loves and forgives people. He has such an attitude of Christ. I admire it and want to be more like him.
C: The best thing is her intelligence and ability to carry on a conversation of any kind, and the fact she sticks up for herself. Sara isn’t a pushover and I like that a lot.
6. When it comes to ________ my spouse would win first prize.
S: Webdesign. Chris is phenomenal and so smart!
C: being amazing and perfect for me…seriously
7. What is your spouse’s best physical feature?
S: He’s just so cute all over.
C: Her smile…only to keep this kid friendly. When Sara smiles, I smile. I can’t help it.
8. What is your spouse’s most indispensable possession and why?
S: We just discussed today “what if a tornado/fire/hurricane/flood/meteorite destroyed our house?” Chris said his most valuable possessions are his cameras and he’s take them with him. It’s his livelihood.
C: This is a good question, because I’m pretty sure she’d be fine with getting rid of anything and everything. She needs at least one bible and one bar of soap though, for obvious reasons.
9. Do you think your spouse will be a good Mom/Dad (why or why not) or if you already have children, what makes your spouse a great Mom/Dad?
S: See #5. He is wonderful with our niece Ava, and with my little brother and sister. He’s going to be the best parent ever. So much better than me.
C: Sara, despite her personal beliefs that she won’t, will be a great Mom to our kids someday, be they adopted or biological. She’s smart, she’s disciplined, and she wants people to see each other as Christ saw them. That’s going to be a tough combo to beat.
10. What is something that your spouse is optimistic AND pessimistic about?
S: He is currently optimistic about his business and future potential. He is pessimistic about tornadoes every occurring this year.
C: Optimistic – Our marriage. Pessimistic – The world’s future. But I’m working on that one
